Derbyshire Event & Wedding Planners visited and sampled the delicious food at the new

Casa Hotel in Chesterfield for future events and all agreed the place definitely has the 'Wow Factor'

The Spanish style theme and ambiance it generates sets this hotel out from the rest the minute you enter the reception area, which has some very quirky and unique sculptures. The whole hotel has a feel of luxury from the bar and lounge area to the high specification bedrooms, this standard of room would not be out of place in London, New York or Los Angeles.

The restaurant staff are very attentive to ensure that all the guests requirements are met and nothing is too much trouble. The menu has a very bistro, tapas feel to it and the food was to a high standard to match the service.

DIY Wedding Favours

One of our brides this summer made her own faboulous wedding favours based on a recipe in the Good Food magazine by Sarah Cook. (see photo)

These are fantastic as a personalised gift or for the bride who has a budget to stick to, our bride made the cookies in advance and froze them. A few nights before the wedding a group of us filled the clear cellophane bags with the delicious cookies, then stapled the labels she had already made with the guests names printed onto the bag, doubling up as a place setting.

Genius idea, good fun and they definately add the personal touch, although packing so many did make you not want to eat any more!

(The ingredients can be put on the label reverse for any guests with allergies)
