Elizabeth & Hilton - Yeldersley Hall wedding

Over the weekend we were very fortunate to co-ordinate the special day of Lizzy & Hilton, a couple who had guests join them from South Africa, Australia and London, to the beautiful property Yeldersley Hall in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.  This really is a hidden gem and a venue we would definately recommend again and again, the owner Andrew Bailey is an absoloute delight to work beside, nothing is too much trouble for him...

Lizzy is from Derbyshire and although she and Hilton live in Sydney, Australia with their beautiful daughter Isobella they chose Lizzy's local village in Derbyshire to become husband and wife.

Lizzy had planned everything from Australia for their big day but wanted to hand over the reins on the day so she could spend time with their relatives and friends and not miss a moment of their special day.

After the ceremony in the local village church the guests enjoyed canapes and champagne in the secret walled garden at Yeldersley Hall listening to the saxaphone player Paul Hollis. Then followed expresso and chocolates in the marquee garden before dining in style in the hall and adjoining marquee provided by Uppercrust Catering.

Lizzy's sister made the wedding cake and christening cake for Isobella. Time, dedication and an enourmous amount of patience went into their creation......

Lots of fun was had with the DIY photo booth until the guests were then snacking on a tower of assorted cheeses, fruit, cake, and a tower of assorted chocolate before tucking into the sausage and bacon baps from the bbq outside to the delight of the Australian and South African guests.
