Sarah & Rogers Wedding July 2010

All preparations for the summer wedding of Sarah and Roger at Ashover Parish Hall are now practically complete, with some unique wooden rose favours and place settings. This should really set off the rest of the accessories and decorations to make it a very special day.

Having the bride arrive in an unusual form of transport is going to be so much fun.... Watch this space for the photos.

Charity Casino Night

We are organising a Charity Casino Event in aid of Weston Park Cancer Charity for the Captain and Lady Captain at Grassmoor Golf Club on 7th August 2010. Many companies will be sponosoring this event and we expect fun to be had by everyone.

Local Singer Donna Ramsdale will be performing at the the event.

Helen from Grassmoor Golf Club has agreed to be a link on our site and we will look forward to working with Helen on many future weddings and events at Grassmoor Golf Club.

Steel city promotions who we met recently at a Wedding Fayre will be our Casino company and we are pleased to be working with them now and in the future.

Wedding Venues in Las Vegas and Los Angeles

Thanks to the volcano I had an extended stay in Los Angeles and Las Vegas which gave me the opportunity to check out what they offer in terms of wedding venues. The Hilton at LA next to Universal City was the first on my list. Picture a luxurious oasis overlooking the Hollywood Hills and you will be spot on. For a wedding of your dreams they have an elegant ballroom with crystal chandeliers and various outdoor areas for the lavish ceremony. This venue can seat up to 2,000 so think big!

Next on my itinery was the Canterbury Wedding Chapel in the Excalibur Casino hotel which is a castle style hotel in Las Vegas. Above the floors of the casino and many shops you can get married for as little as $199.

My last venue was the famous The Little White Wedding Chapel which has been the site of many "quickie" celebrity weddings and it is noted for its Drive-Thru Tunnel of Vows. This venue was established in 1951,and has married about 800,000 couples many famous names like Paul Newman, Brittany Spears, Joan Collins and Bruce Willis to name just a few.
